By creating a GaragePass account you agree to these terms. GaragePass is a marketplace that connects musicians ("Musicians") with people who list a garage, basement, backyard, or practice room ("Hosts") for hourly rehearsal use. GaragePass is not a party to the arrangement between a Host and a Musician and does not guarantee the condition of any space or the conduct of any user.
You must be able to form a binding agreement to create a Host account. Musicians under 18 may create an account only with a parent or guardian linked and approving their account and every booking, as described in our Privacy Policy. A minor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at every in-person session arranged through the app.
You may not use GaragePass to harass, threaten, defraud, or endanger another user. Child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) in any form — including grooming, solicitation, or sharing child sexual abuse material — is absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and a report to law enforcement, as required by law. You may not exchange contact information with the intent to move a minor user off-platform to avoid our safety features.
You may not use the platform to discriminate against another user on the basis of any protected characteristic, to list a space you do not have the right to offer, or to circumvent our reporting and blocking tools.
Report or block another user at any time from a booking's message thread. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove any account for violating these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice when safety is at issue.
A booking is a direct arrangement between a Host and a Musician for use of a specific space during a specific window. Beta Hosts keep 100% of any amount charged; a platform commission applies starting at public launch, disclosed in-app before it takes effect. Cancellation and refund handling is described in-app at time of booking.
Attending or hosting an in-person rehearsal session involves inherent risk (property, equipment, personal injury) that GaragePass does not control. Users participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own conduct, property, and any agreements made directly with the other party to a booking.
GaragePass is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, GaragePass is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from the conduct of another user, including during an in-person session arranged through the app.
We may update these terms as the product evolves, especially ahead of the transition from beta to public launch. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
